Dr. Jennifer Nixon

Dr. Jennifer Nixon is a mother, educator, entrepreneur, and the founder of YES 2 YOU 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. She is on a mission to increase the knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in her community by helping prepare the youth of today to be tomorrow's leaders. Her vision is centered around developing analytical, technical, and creative thinking skills of youth in the underserved communities. She works as a Sr. Systems Analyst and also holds a Doctorate in Information Technology where the focus was on Virtual Reality design strategies. Dr. Nixon’s areas of emphasis are strategic analysis, organizational change and culture, and streamlining systems. She enjoys being of service in the community and helping people, especially youth and women, understand and grow their potential. Through community service initiatives, she has been able to meet like-minded individuals from the community that share a passion for service. She hopes to cultivate these budding relationships into friendships and partnerships in the years to come.
